Leyden is a clean, legible typeface family with a warm, approachable feel. Comes with many ligatures, a small-caps font, and an accompanying black sans.

Leyden News is a variant of Leyden, optimised for use in magazines, papers and news-letters, where type is often of necessity smallish and compact. This means that while basic Leyden letterforms are used, x-height is larger and detail work is more robust and sometimes simplified, all in the interest of high legibility when printing small size type on indifferent paper, and often with indifferent printing too. In spite of this, figures remain lowercase or ranging, though the bold and bold italic styles (which will mainly be used for headers) have uppercase or lining figures.

Each Leyden font includes: Western and Eastern European characters, Ligatures, and more. A Smallcaps font and a Black Sans font are also available. Some weights come with a Special font which includes additional Numerals, Fractions, and Ligatures.

A Complete Family is available which includes all 12 fonts. In addition, there are two subsets offered. A Basics Set which includes 5 fonts: Regular, Italic, Bold, Black, and Smallcaps. There is also the News Basics Set which includes 4 fonts: the News style in Regular, Italic, Bold, and Bold Italic. Separate weights and styles are also available.
